Who is Jesus?
“He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’”
Matthew 16:15 (NKJV)
The most important question anyone can ask. Here's what the Bible tells us about who Jesus is, why He came, and what that means for you.
Fully God, Fully Man
The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is God's own Son, who took on human flesh and lived among us. He was fully God and fully man — without sin, and able to fully understand what it means to be human.
He Died For Us
Though He lived a perfect life, Jesus was crucified — taking the punishment for sin that we deserved. His death paid the price so that anyone who trusts in Him can be forgiven and reconciled to God.
“The Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)
He Rose Again — And Is Alive Today
Three days after His death, Jesus rose from the grave, defeating sin and death once and for all. He is alive today, and offers real, lasting hope to anyone who puts their trust in Him.
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 (NKJV)
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)
